#410 Jack Salter

#410 is a short wheelbase, wide bodied Super Sport with a Citroën engine. Kit collected Sept 2017, I bought two "beyond restoration" donor 2CVs at £200 each and selected the best parts. I made the aluminium body panels from a scrap caravan. Fan belt cover is a transmission case from a Honda Dylan scooter, mirrors are LML scooter, seat is the back seat from a modern BMW, cut down to fit. Constructing the car in my spare time (with a full time job), it was finished July 2018 (10 months) at a total cost (including new tyres, seatbelts, brakes and electrics) of just under £3,500. Passed MVSA Aug 2018.

#411 Dave Kemplen

I decided to build my Pembleton because I had owned many years ago a Morgan Matchless engined Super Sport, I would never be able to afford a Morgan so this was the next best thing. I started in August of 2017 with a £400 very rusty 2cv6 and after much work I had all the bits refurbished ready for the chassis which I picked up with a friend who shared the driving from Cornwall to Kidderminster. Then over the winter I built up the rolling chassis and fitted the engine and all of the mechanical parts, then I built the body finishing it in early April 1500 pop rivets later. Then I did all of the electrics using new cables and my take on the normal 2cv wiring. I applied for the MSVA test in May and had the test at the end of May sent off the paperwork for the reg number straight away and received that almost by return and now am on the road.
