Strengthening the Chassis

I have attached photos below of the adaptions made, these are standard on all the cars now. However, some early chassis will not have these modifications.

Spring alignment is critical and should be regularly checked. They should run parallel with the chassis. If this is not correct it will increase the load on the chassis leading to possible failure. Extra bracing has now been added to the suspension cups and chassis. The use of uprated, non standard springs greatly increases the load on the chassis therefore these modifications should be made if you are using them.
