Hello everyone,

I thought I'd introduce myself as I've just joined the forum and taken on ownership of my Dad's pride and joy, the 'Avon Flyer', after he passed away in December.

I look forward to learning all about the intricacies of the Pembleton and will be picking your brains over the coming months I'm sure!

Best regards

John

Hi John,
Welcome and well done for taking on your dads car, he made a fantastic job of building the Flyer and certainly added a few unique features which will be a timeless tribute to his memory.

Hope to see you out and about, maybe Scotland in September? See the events page for details.

Cheers,
Rob

Hi John,
I exchanged MANY emails with your Dad during his build - the car is a tribute to his skill and determination. I'm sure he would have wanted you to "pick up from where he left off" (a Pembleton self-build is never actually "finished" - I'm still modifying mine after 10 years "on the road"). He's lucky that he has a son that is interested in taking the car on - and taking it further.

Lean as heavy as you like on the Forum - it's all about keeping our cars running and safely.
