I use 2 different systems, a Sena Bluetooth intercom when I am riding my bike and a hard wired Autocom when I am in my 3 wheel special. The Sena connects to my phone and a sat nav and is crystal clear up to legal speeds and is built into my helmet. You could quite easily adapt it or something similar to fit into a flying helmet or the like. The hard wired unit is wired permanently to the car and does the same as the Bluetooth unit albeit you have to plug the headsets into it using a dedicated cable for each headset. I have sewn the speakers and mike into my flying helmet, I only use mine for music and sat nav but with 2 headsets 2 way conversation would be possible up to legal speeds and beyond.

regards Phil
